Adam's work on the protein engineering team focuses on the engineering of RNA-guided nucleases to improve specificity and therapeutic activity.
Prior to joining Life Edit Therapeutics, Adam worked on the Emerging Technology team at Precision Biosciences and was a postdoc at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he used molecular dynamics simulations to investigate antibody-epitope interactions.
Adam received his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland where he studied structural protein engineering and protein-protein interactions to build complex self-assembling protein nanoparticles.
