Adrian is focused on developing Life Edit Therapeutic’s genome editing technologies for therapeutic areas. She has over a decade of experience in molecular biology research with over five years of experience in the genome engineering field.
Prior to joining Life Edit, Adrian was a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Duke University where she engineered novel CRISPR systems for use in human cells and developed AAV-based CRISPR-Cas9 gene therapy strategies for correcting genetic diseases.
Adrian received her PhD in Infectious Diseases from the University of Georgia, where she studied viral protein interactions to engineer improved vaccine candidates.
