Chunhua is part of the Preclinical Development team at Life Edit Therapeutics that evaluates the pharmacology, biodistribution, immunology and safety of gene editing therapeutics.
Prior to joining Life Edit, Chunhua spent 18 years on preclinical drug development in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry -including at Merck & Co., Prelude Therapeutics, and Proteovant Therapeutics- where he led and contributed to the preclinical evaluation and registration of a number of drug products.
Chunhua received his PhD in Toxicology from Texas A&M University, where he studied molecular mechanisms of hormonal regulation of gene expression and signaling pathways in tumor development and anti-tumor therapy.
