Jake is a member of the Gene Editing team at Life Edit Therapeutics, working to develop off-target approaches.
Jake received his B.S. in Biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and his Ph.D. in Genetics from North Carolina State University under the advisement of Dr. Kurt Marsden, where he helped identify molecular mechanisms driving neurobehavioral responses in zebrafish.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and watching the Carolina Hurricanes.
