James is a seasoned Environment, Health, & Safety Professional with over 35 years of experience spanning corporate leadership, implementing practical best practices, and developing staff & cross functional teams. The result was a self-sustaining safety culture and regulatory compliance, while eliminating injuries.
Prior to ElevateBio/Life Edit, James gained EHS best practices from a career with a diverse industry background including companies such as Amazon, Savannah River Nuclear, Amgen, Manus Bio, and Monsanto.
James holds a MS in Engineering from West Virginia University and a BS in Safety Engineering from Fairmont State University. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), and a Special Government Employee with OSHA (SGE).
