Ryan's work at Life Edit Therapeutics focuses on discovering and optimizing novel RGNs and base editors.
Prior to joining the Life Edit team, Ryan was a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University, where he used CRISPR-interference to identify pro-growth regulatory elements.
Ryan received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from Northwestern University, where he studied the role of histone modifying enzymes in transcription regulation.
