Tony is a protein engineering scientist in the Technology Development team at Life Edit Therapeutics. He focuses on optimizing CRISPR gene editors for therapeutic purposes.
Prior to Life Edit, Tony received his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he leveraged computational protein design, next-generation DNA synthesis and sequencing technologies, and highly multiplexed selection and screening assays to redesign protein function.
