Tyler is responsible for developing and optimizing RNA production processes for mRNA-based products at Life Edit Therapeutics.
Prior to joining Life Edit, Tyler was a scientist at Enumera Molecular where he was responsible for the development of nucleic acid-based diagnostic platforms with applications for NIPT, oncology, infectious disease and more.
Tyler received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, where he studied how unique sequence motifs (e.g., internal polyA) and nucleotide chemical modifications (e.g., m6A and m5U) in mRNA and tRNA impact rates, efficiency and accuracy of protein synthesis.
